Agsam is one of the Lanuza Barangays in the province of Surigao del Sur. Lanuza is similar to other local areas in the province that are improving. They have a lot of tourist spots, beaches, and resorts; islands where a surfer can perform due to the enormous waves; and much more to explore in the province.

Have you ever wondered why the area is known as Kilometro Singko? If you go there and visit the place, it will show you the way, and it is 5 kilometers away from the center of Lanuza. At the top of the mountain, at Baranggay Agsam, is where you'll find the Kilometro Singko. To get up there, you will ride on a habal-habal motor, a Filipino term for a motorcycle with two sides made of wood to carry heavy loads. You can also ride a single bike capable of surviving a long journey on a high mountain road.
